Suggestion to streamline PvP and prevent exploits

Please, please, please remove the option to cancel a match once an opponent is found!

When a player joins the queue they should get a notification that they have been matched, and then a countdown until the game is launched. No requirement to "accept the match" No ability to "cancel the match". You join the queue, you get put in a game. If you change you mind or can't stay at the keyboard for whatever reason, you surrender and lose.

The requirement to accept a match and ability to cancel one cause grief for no reason. They also allow players to selectively choose their opponents to game the system and effectively cheat.

Completely agreed. Genuinely curious what purpose the cancel option even serves.

The purpose is aimed so players that are doing other things while waiting for the PvP queue can decide if they want to do a PvP in the end or finish their Dungeon (for instance) specially aimed for long periods of queue time.

We are aware of the rising issue with players exploiting this system to selectively choose opponents and more, and our first approach will always be to fix that exploit prior to remove that feature, However as this seems more complex thant it actually is, we will think about doing what you suggested and remove the posibility to cancel a match.

We have this into our priorities and will make sure to let you know once we have a final word about this matter.

As it is, the queue cancels itself before you can complete an adventure, it's not that you can currently do a lot while waiting in queue. Should you remove the possibility to cancel I would just put up a warning in the pay screen in the adventures (and maybe in deck selection for raids) if the player is in the pvp queue while selecting it that says they will risk losing their fee/ticket, or even disabling these options while in queue altogether.

This way people with long queue times can still start an easy adventure or campaign level, and decide for themselves if they want to cancel the queue at a certain point where they would rather finish the adventure than wait longer for a pvp match.
